A large supply of different chips are available. They will not be erased (unless otherwise instructed to do), and will be previously used.
Some ICs (like the 2708’s) may have gold legs. All ICs will be visually checked to make sure they don’t have any broken legs or damaged windows, but are sold as used and untested as I don’t know what’s on them.
Some ICs will have specific variations, so a 27256 also includes 27c256. Most people will be able to program either, and both should work in most circumstances, but please do get in touch if you need a specific IC.
Certain ICs such as the 2732 may require a specific programmer, whereas the 2732a may be easier to program with cheaper hardware - so again, please ask for confirmation if specific suffixes are required - otherwise you will be sent a generic IC of the type requested.
